The built-in layer constraint oacDiagonalShapesAllowed specifies whether or not it is an error to create diagonal geometries on a specific layer. In general, this constraint is used to indicate that diagonal shapes are allowed.
Constraint type: | oaLayerConstraint |
Value types: | oaBooleanValue |
Database types: | oaTech |
Object types: | oaRoute, oaScalarNet, oaBusNetBit, oaAppObject |
The following value types are supported by this constraint:
This oaBooleanValue indicates whether or not it is an error to create diagonal geometries on the layer. If the value is true, then diagonal shapes are allowed on that layer.
Units: Boolean
Technology documents often list layers or derived layer combinations where diagonal shapes are an error condition in manufacturing. An example of this is that while diagonal poly shapes can manufactured, bent gates are not allowed.
