The built-in layer constraint definition oacMaxTapSpacing applies to cut or local interconnect layers and defines the maximum center-to-center spacing between cut shapes that are used as well ties to Nwell or Pwell within a given well. The distance is specified in database units.
Constraint type: | oaLayerConstraint |
Value types: | oaIntValue |
Database types: | oaDesign, oaTech |
Object types: | oaAppObject |
The following value types are supported by this constraint:
This oaIntValue represents the maximum spacing required between the two well ties in database units. The distance is measured from the center of the first well tie to the center of the second well tie.
Units: DBU
Processes specify maximum spacing constraints for well ties to ensure a proper connection of the wells to the substrate after fabrication.
