minDiagonalEdgeLength (oacMinDiagonalEdgeLength)

Description

The built-in layer constraint definition oacMinDiagonalEdgeLength specifies the minimum edge length for a diagonal shape. The distance is specified in database units and should be calculated as the actual or Euclidian diagonal distance, not the Manhattan distance.

Manufacturing Reasons

Edge length constraints are used to increase the probability that Optical Pattern Correction techniques can be used on the geometry to address the lithography distortions that are created during manufacturing.
